A Suffolk County Senior Advocate will meet with persons age 60 or over and their caregivers to provide information, counseling, and assistance in applying for benefits they may be eligible for. Emphasis is on programs that foster economic independence, such as Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicare Savings Program, and HEAP. First-come, first-served.
