Photojournalist Matt Schrier is the first westerner to escape an Al-Qaeda prison. Matt was covering the civil war in Syria and was captured on what was to be his last day there. He spent seven months in six different prisons being tortured and starved before he escaped. This will be a Zoom lecture that can be viewed at home or in our community room.
