Access Databases from Home
Your library subscribes to over 60 different electronic reference databases on a variety of subjects. The databases organize information from well-known reference materials and enable you to search or browse for topics of interest that may otherwise be difficult to locate on the Internet.
Most of the reference databases you use at the library are now available to the Connetquot Library patrons from the convenience of your homes! You will need your valid library card to gain access. Follow these four steps to explore the database from home:
- Visit our homepage
- On the top of the screen, click the tab for Databases
- Choose a Subject from the Database Menu on the left-hand side or choose from the Databases Alphabetically list of available products
- Click on the name of the database you would like to search, then enter the barcode number on the back of your library card when prompted
