The Long Island Tuba Quartet
Enjoy a happy afternoon with The Long Island Tuba Quartet. They will entertain you with a program of varied selections from John Philip Sousa to Scott Joplin, Elton John and others. Created in 1986, the Quartet has been chaired by "Mr. Tuba," Bill Troiano. You will hear their first concert without Bill and the start of a new tradition. Quartet veterans Jeff Furman and Tim Eckstrom play tuba, and Don Sherman and Michael Canipe continue on euphoniums. You will be pleased and surprised to hear the exciting range of music that these instruments are capable of performing.
